Baby's First Cold

Ok, not all of the "firsts" are a good thing. I was warned by family and friends that that seeing your baby sick is something tougher on the parents than the baby. That's a safe statement. He's had his flu vaccination but it doesn't seem to have helped him dodge this one. I was up with him at 3:30 and saw the sunrise while he lay sobbing on my shoulder and making moaning noises in his sleep. He'll get well again and get through it but not before he shares his affliction with his dad, who will lie in the corner sobbing and making moaning noises in his sleep.
